Pull up a chair and join me for a class that is both beneficial and fun and where no previous yoga experience is needed. This class offers all the benefits of a traditional yoga session without the physical strain of getting down onto the floor or putting excessive weight on shoulders and wrists. Regardless of your physical limitations, you can enjoy this class, which focuses on gentle stretches, flowing movements, balance, stress-release, breathing techniques and mindfull meditation.

“Tracy from At Yoga is simply great. I started doing yoga with her when I joined her Chair Yoga classes a year ago due to an arm injury. The class had a great vibe to it, and it gave me the freedom to keep exercising when most other exercises - other than walking - were ruled out for me for a period of time. The classes were fun and enjoyable. Tracy is great at explaining not only how to do a specific yoga move but also the why we’re doing it — I think this is such a valuable quality in a yoga instructor. I recently heard that Tracy has been approved as a provider for Green Prescriptions — I would 100% recommend getting on board with that if your doctor is talking to you about one. I truly don’t think you’d regret it for a moment. Chair Yoga at At Yoga is a friendly, active class that’s easily adaptable for people of all fitness levels, including those recovering from injury”. After two significant surgeries in 2023, I noticed a gap for those going through rehabilitation or wanting to exercise with existing ongoing injuries or post-operative care e.g. hip, knee and shoulder replacement, cancer survivors, blind and low vision etc. Many people lose the confidence to even join in with a group class. This class was developed as an alternative restorative option for those who have a lower fitness level or cannot get up and down from floor level, who are recovering from injury, surgery, or illnesses, or simply maintaining mobility through the aging process and is also suitable for those living with a disability. While chair yoga cannot perform miracles, it can facilitate amazing transformations. Individuals can improve balance by doing exercises that stimulate the Cerebellum, regain muscle strength which helps support their skeleton, alleviate pain, manage weight, enhance memory and even improve their cardiovascular function all by using a chair yoga practice. Our current age range is 30 - 80+
